The Zombie Preparedness Initiative was founded by a group of students at a university in the Twin Cities (MN, USA) under the premise that we were not going to be caught unprepared for zombies. We decided on a number of plans in case of an emergency and immediately began discussing the options with those around them. Shortly thereafter, the Zombie Preparedness Initiative created a web presence where it has remained since.

This place is a Super Wal-Mart. Its in a small town with about 5,000 people in it. The nearest town is 10 miles away. St. Louis is about 100 Miles away to the North West. The closest major highway is 30 Miles away. You have 2 hardwere stores w/lumber yards within 1/2 mile. A small airport 1/4 mile away. The store in built mostly around farm fields. This Place is ideal because of the small amount of people. So less zombies walking around. And you have only 2 major doors to protect. This place should be able to hold close to 200 people. With food,water, clothes and a place to sleep.

We here with the Hunters of the UNDEAD are a rare breed of individuals, rather than run and defand from the hordes of the undead we would stick it out and kill to the very last. Being with the Hunters of the UNDEAD is not for the faint of heart. Fighting is in our blood, we want to fight. Just like our ancestors of long ago. We are on a mission to gather all others who feel the same way to join us for the inevitable future of war with the UNDEAD.

Greetings! I am trying to establish a group of survivors that will all be coming together after Z-Day. The group will work with three Sites, the Alpha, Beta, and Cappa Emergency Sites. The idea for this group was conceived from the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse. My unit will be a group of highly trained individuals who will be trained for zombie combat. The unit will be highly equipped with weapons, tactical gear, and survival equipment. Each unit member will be assigned a position within the group. The CenLA Undead Defense Movement is a group of friends operating out of Central Louisiana (the Alexandria/Pineville area) who use their free time for one purpose: planning for the coming zombie apocalypse. You can't have too many safe houses, and MCS is one of them. It's an apartment complex next to a school good for many occupants and survivors as well as long different buildings and hallways to see whats waiting for you. The school next door could be converted into pretty much anything, and its only blocks away from department staores and grocerie stores. Also there is an nature reserve across the street good for hunting and firewood.open fields surrounding the other sides of the apartments for easy view of zeds.

We are a group of highly determined individuals who live by an unchartered code of conduct. Should there be an apocalypse in our lifetime, we will find any means to survive and outlive it. Our skills range is immense including dispatching the undead, wilderness and urban survival techniques, distilling and brewing alcoholic beverages, gameplay involving said alcohol, making improvised projectile devices, and knitting (killing zombies without a warm pair of socks is just ludicrous). Here is a basis for our selection process:

We command from a safe distance away from the high population areas of the city, yet close enough so that the surrounding towns and such may have a contact group and a safe zone. We operate in the south Eastern part of Pennsylvania and are sworn to protect and serve however possible in the likely event of a zombie outbreak. If your around this area, this group is for you. First, one must inform others of the pending danger, Second, one must prepare his or her self and brethren for the case of an outbreak. Thirdly, one must watch for any news on such events.
