In a forum I check in on over on MySpace, I am surrounded by Idiots. One guy thinks he will be able to dig a tunnel on Z-Day from his house to Wal-Mart... I kid you not. Needless to say, I beat these kids over the head with how they are going to die when the Zeds walk.
Well, I have committed an unspeakable crime... I insulted the Zombie Survival Guide and told them Max Brooks is an Idiot that will get them all killed on Z-Day. They LIVE for that book. They use it as their Bible.
I think I may have finally gone too far. 
I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being the most intelligent, level-headed, and serious people I have ever met concerning the Zombies. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea the stupidity that abounds elsewhere.
And for obvious reasons, I have never, EVER told any one in the group about this site. I fear the day the discover it.

Actually there are a one or two that seem serious enough that I would consider bringing them over, but I fear them telling the other numbnuts about it. 
Oh, I still don't know what you want me to DO for the Manuals. I know you want help, but seriously, I have no idea what you want. And don't be vague. I don't DO vague.

I NEED THE FOLLOWING (without being vague):
1. A 100% agreeable definition on what a Zombie IS that all are willing to agree with. Thus, living infected or dead infected (chemical/bio weapon attack oriented)
2. I need information on the different abilities that were discussed through the site to be combined into one forum post so I dont have to run all over this site looking for information. I have already downloaded the electricity topic and have started remaking it for the manual use to make it legit to not hold a copyright.
3. I need some people willing to write up articles on the topics which we are going to have in the manual (listed in the foreword). Following is the listed topics in the Foreword:
Volume 1 will cover the following aspects of needed knowledge for survival of a zombie outbreak:
What a zombie is and their capabilities, how to assess your situation, information on situational
awareness, suggested gear to prepare, weapon statistics, basic home defensive preparations,
armor statistics, weapon statistics, transportation statistics, organizing a surviver group, general
tactics used in todays military, and city, state, and national response efforts during an outbreak.
4. I need input for who thinks it a good idea to make a seperate manual that has firstaid, herbal medicines, and other misc. medical information to help along with survival?
5. Last - but not least - I am in need of some quotes that are not copy written to post in the beginning of eash sub-title. This will be an attractive look for humorous material to laugh at that will add to the actual manual topics.
(I.E- "A cranial shot will change your assailant's mind." - Sanchez under topic: GUNS)

For basic Home Defense Fortifications, I have been working on those for some time. I just need to write it out. Can I take a stab at that one?
I have no problem with putting some of those topics int heir own Manuals, however... I think the first manual should have SOME form of Generic First Aid in it. We have to assume that the Average Joe is NOT going to be lugging a 16 volume set of books with him as he high tails it for the hills.

True, but don't you think we could have an Appendix for the first manual that will cover all of the basic information? I mean, the Army publication is not copyrightable, thus we can include it as an appendix to the actual manual.

Also, go ahead and stab at what you want. I will make sure to pull the swiss knife from the document prior to posting it into the publication.
I need anyone willing to write up something for the publication to do so in a wise way so I dont have to reword for a post-z day manner. This is to prepare prior to and to be intelligently sound. (I know I cant spell so shut up ;p)
As for the rest, I NEED somebody to stand up from this crowd and start working with me to create something for this site and my organization. We are making an effort to broadcast a positive look for everyone here. This is your information and hard discussions put into effect. It will reflect you and your hard "fun" on this forum.

The sad thing is, they sound very immature about the whole Z-Day thing. I mean common, any true human with a brain knows that one of the biggest things you should not rely on is Electricity, i mean dude....(this does not include big cities) If a storm can shut down an entire city then what do they think a Massive Horde of Zombies are going to do??
