Z-Day would be cool, if they were slow. If they were fast it might be a little more scary, and I'm not sure if I'd survive in either scenario depending on where I am at the time, but I fully welcome Z-Day regardless.

Cocky! I'm not cocky. I fully realize that I probably would be killed quickly in a Z-Day Scenario. First off, as part of the Canadian Forces (Only weekend warrior for now) I would probably be called up to defend some outpost in the middle of 700,000 Pop. Winnipeg, which is basically the Government saying 'Bye bye soldiers!'! And if I had the good fortune to be at home, with my weapons, I would have to get the hell out of the dodge. I live in a city of 15,000 right now, and my house is right in the heart of it, so that might pose a little challenge armed with only a few Bolt Action and Semi-Automatic weapons. And if it happens sometime in the coming year when I return to University, not only will I have no weapons, but I'll be stuck in an area that houses thousands of people per a few square miles. Unarmed, with a panicking mob, I honestly don't see my chances as being more then 5%.

But, if I some how managed to get out of the cities unscathed, hell ya! I'm set. I know that much.

Not to sound as if I'm totally buying into the whole Z-day thing, but no matter where you are, you must always have a plan to get out alive, being a complete plan or not. It'll help. Universities would be a problem, yes, but find a convenient way to book it outta there in time.

I admit I am confused. I simply don't understand why people would want zombies to come. I think if you want to see a challenge, go spend some time in the wilderness in survival training. If you want a renewal, get active in the community in some way and try and help affect change that way. Hoping for the world to be destroyed so we can see a change is very ... illogical, to put it lightly.

All that needs to be said is this: FIRE = BAD

Hm, I think it's more of the coolness of actually being able to kill 'people' and not have to fret about it.

Personally, I don't want the world to come to an end because of the whole global warming scare, and that stuff, but because it'd be a good way to kind of 'erase' our past and give humans a united goal for the future.

I mean, right now in the Middle East supposed 'brothers' (Muslim believers) are blowing each other up because they were born into an opposing sect. Sunni, Shia, Shi-ite... I can't imagine what they'd do if they ever sorted out their issues and went after non-Muslim people.

When I say renewal, I mean not one necessarily of nature. But of mankind. I can't imagine what our world must look like to a foreign species observing us.

But, then again, we've always shown that when we get something good or new, odds are we usually screw it up. Still, at least I'd get to shred some Zeds in the process Smiling.

Dude, if you were forced to kill zombies, which are basically people, just dead, you would be SOOO messed up, after Z-day you would not be able to live a normal life. A soldier, maybe, it's their duty. But you tell me how willing you are to dispatch you're best mate when he comes thorugh the wall.
