The Best Defense: Survival. You gotta watch!

I just finished watching this seasons first episode of the Best Defense:Survival. WOW! This is going to be a very informative show with excelent training aids. The show comes on every wednesday night at 8:00 eastern time on the Outdoor Channel. They are planning on covering most types of natural and man-made disasters, giving tips on how to survive. And for anyone who watched the first season, they will still be covering firearms, and how to use them defensively to survive these disasters. Just based on the first episode, I highly recommend it to anyone serious about survival. It will be re-aired at 11:00 eastern time tonight(7-1-09) and then again at 1:30 a.m. tonight.

Superior gear will never make up for lack of training and attitude.

arg...this sounds like a commercial for a television program and I don't like the use of the word Best in their word choice. ...

I agree, there is no BEST defense against anything, there is lots of ways to defend against something, depending on lots of variables.

I dont mean to make it sound like a commercial, im just excited about the show. It gives some really good options for anyone interested in survival. I agree, there is no best defense, but the show gives a lot of options for you to decide on which is the best for you.

I did not say I disagreed with YOUR word choice, I disagree with theirs (the people who make/made the show). I also don't catch the outdoor channel so...I won't get the oppurtunity to watch the program.

Outdoor channel? Darn! We used to have that one but it went away when the "low introductory rate" went away. I'm gonna try to get it back though, that sounds pretty good.
