The movie, that makes the most sense, Quarintine.

The movie was lousy, and had a very predictable ending. However, this is how I think the zombies will be first dealt with. Plus, some of the science is there. Not, a lost, just some. Take a look, tell me what you think.

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on

Realistically speaking, yeah, it does make the most sense. If these kind of zombies where all we had to worry about it would get pretty boring though. Rabies kills those infected. All you would have to do is wait it out.

Where's the fun in that? Smiling

How about not having to watch all you know and love be destroyed in front of your eyes, sometimes by your own hands?

"If the big headline tomorrow is that Barack Obama single-handedly fought and slew Lucifer, Glenn Beck still has to do a show about how Obama is an Anti-Christian Communist out to destroy America. That's what his show is about; that's what the listeners t

You do realize that we are talking about something that has never existed and never will, right? We aren't coming to this site to actually prepare for a zombie outbreak. We are coming here for the fun of the fantasy.

Some mutated form of Rabies is realistically the most likely type of zombie. But it's not fun to talk about since, as I stated, all you would have to do is wait until they die.

The site isn't just for zombies. The vast majority of information on the site is for any sort of disaster, be it short term or long.
How do you know there would never be a zombie outbreak? Any contagious virus that really breaks out leave's you with the same rules, except you can't kill them, and they may not try and kill you. All the survival aspects stay the same.

Shadow and bluewolf were'nt saying anything about the rabies theory, they were stating that they wouldn't find it fun to watch their loved ones die.
Yeah, I see where you're coming from, I know it wouldn't be as much fun, but in reality it would obviously be alot better. I know this post sounds very unimaginative and fun sucking, but ah well.

I leave you with a short excerpt from Eliot's bio:

Eliot wrote:

Farmerbrown, you really haven't paid attention, have you. A significant portion of this site's active members, probably a majority, think it is possible, and therefore worth preparing for. Some of them think it will happen. You can't speak for everyone on the site.

lol ^^^^^. ALl I have to say is with all the bio chemical war fare that goes on and everything that the Countries labs are trying and experimenting with I wouldn't throw away the idea Farmer. I remember not long ago when people were calling space exploration Fantasy. Nothing is fantasy in the eyes of a believer.

The end results are the same. Being prepared in the event of just about anything. I've learned a lot of things from this site, some useful for everyday emergencies and some for the less than likely emergencies. My mention of the movie was, because I found it a new way to look at zombies. Even though the situation was not remotely close to what some would call zombies. The idea, that there would be a viral, or biological threat similar to the one portrayed in the movie made me think. I wanted to get the opinions of you folks here on the site, not raise a ruckus with my first post. We, all have our own views on zombies, and I apologize if I got anyone upset with my thoughts and opinions.
