What comes next?

Just wondering what are people going to do once the zombies are over and done with. (i know this may take hundreds of years but talking hypothetically).
How will you shape the world?
Will you join into a 'tribe'
Or create your own?
Will we see the Kingdom of Chilbert? or the Dominion of TheBox?
Just throwing the idea out there.

No, no, no...I will have a Zombie Invasion TREEHOUSE!

Now that shameless plug is done with, I must say that I am by no means a person to have a kingdom beneath me. I have enough trouble trying to substitute teach a class of about 30 students.

Now, would I suggest that certain knowledge be documented and taught to others? Yes. There will inevitably be "tribes" and such that worship those who should not have such encouragement or power. One must keep in mind the old phrase "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." There is always a possibility of TOO much anything. Moderation is the key.

Who is to say one individual would decide what or how the world would be shaped? I think that while the "Army of ONE" philosophy is good, it is flawed to think that the one in question could make said "changes" without an excellent support base (like that of the soldier). Furthermore, I think that the society will have changed well enough from the necessity to survive or die. History would revert at least in some part to the ways of old.

As long as there is that one small group that does survive, then the human race, while it may lose much of it's prowess, will still have a chance if they are determined enough to do anything to survive AND help each other survive.

i see myself finding a hole in the wall away from the rest of humanity and live the hermit life style getting what i need when i need it (not through force) and probably fry about 92% of my brain through moonshine...maybe have a legend about me, force the citizens to build a statue of me at gunpoint

seriously though, i doubt i would really fit into a post apocalyptic society

I'm extremely curious though, why do i keep seeing stuff about Box Vs. Chilbert? Where is the false animosity rising from?
EDIT
forgot to mention...
Domination of TheBox?...que? am i giving the new guys the impression of oppression?

I don't know, but I hold no ill will toward Box or any other member. I am occasionally annoyed, but that is to be expected in a forum environment.

I think That we would just nuke all area with the infection and move to other areas of the world untill the radiation dies down.

I see....
Do you have a 'nuke'?
do you know how long it will take "the radiation to die down"?

hehe let's wind back the clock to a little incident in Chernobyl near Pipryat, Ukraine, in 1986 it went plooie and there are still several areas of the area which are uninhabitable.
so can you survive roughly 14 years without several parts (i'd assume the ones with greater populations and thus more supplies) to be uninhabitable?
Mind you the nuclear explosion probably pales in comparison to the detonation of a nuclear bomb itself... I'd vote no

I would think that using weapons of mass destruction should be an absolute last ditch effort to solve the problem. With the size of warheads that we have these days it could take 100+ years for an area to re inhabitable. I also think that if one country turned to using them there would be more countries that followed suite and then we would wind up killing everyone from radiation poisoning from the global fallout and nuclear winter that would indefinably follow, which would fucking suck.
