I thought this house was interesting. I don't know if it's ideal, since it seems to me that it would require a lot of resources, but still, worth checking out:

its a cool house, but not as useful as people would think the bunker can be, since its been posted online many times and featured more than once on TV, don't be surprised in a disaster if a 1000 people come to your new house and try to bust their way in.
Bunkers and fortified areas are only useful if they remain a secret, now that he whole world (or who ever bothers to look) knows of hte location of the bunker, naturally everyone will try to go for that bunker, the bunker's security will be quickly compromised like that.
That is pretty sweet. Talk about a hobby.
