Yup, and who actually ran those companies? Who decided to rape a great idea and corrupt it in order to make billions of dollars?
Also, it's not like we haven't seen any recession started with the help of an actual Presidential nominee (not the party, but the actual nominee), oh wait, that was the Keating Five wasn't it?

You have to admit, the guy who made the video makes an excellent argument.
The main problem with this post is the fact that it was placed in the wrong section. It should be in the General Chit-Chat section and will be moved soon after this reply.

Really? An excellent argument? I'm disappointed. Allow me to source Wikipedia, completely omit major players and factors, and use enough quarter second cuts to cause several children in Japan to have epileptic fits, and I will be able to convince you that America was completely at fault for WWII.
If one were to come from another planet and observe this fascinating video, one might come to the assumption that the Democrats were running this country for the last eight years.
My statement absolves no one. All of our blessed politicians were snorting at the trough. Oh and those poor benighted bankers who sold 40 trillion dollars in mortgage-backed securities (derivatives) on a, at highest estimate, 4 trillion in actual capital. This wasn't even junk bonds... it was fantasy league lending.
So "an excellent argument" from a campaign hit piece, that omits Republicans and Wall Street's own rapacious greed?... come on.
Here: The truth is oh so much harder to read... you can't watch it in a 10 minute music video. It can't be parsed into sound bites. One can't shovel blame to one side of politics or the other. The politicians are beholden to money. So let the man with the most (as of now, Bill Gates got killed this week) speak truth to power:
Warren Buffet's musings on the dangers of derivatives: pgs. 13-15
i watched it halfway threw till it started the candidate bashing. but funny how it never mentiond the McCain HAS 7 GD HOUSES!!!! i think it odd how they left that out.
After zero hours of sleep I've come up with a solution. One that will fix everything that is screwed up and will be screwed up. Legalize all drugs, all forms of weaponry, crank up that big hadron collider (or whatever the hell it is called), then nuke the fucking whales and the moon. Problem solved.
Here Here Sanchez, and send California to go chill with Hawaii and then send Alaska to them... Can't watch the video at work right now but i love to see our resident Troll at work...
The creator of this video is dead on!!!!
My question to all of you, how do we go about getting out of this funk?
I can see you're for renewable energy because this is horse ----.
Feel free to retort my retort by p.m. I'd like to keep this as a zombie website, rather than a political minefield.
I messed with Texas.

The title is backwards, but if you listen to the lyrics that go with the images, it fits quite well.
