It seems that the topic of politics (especially in a dystopia) is coming up more and more often, so perhaps it deserves it's own subforum? Maybe in Long-Term Survival or under General Survival, but definitely out of the way of the other forums.
I don't know if I see a purpose for it. Everything eventually devolves into politics, but I don't think we need a specific forum. Let me hear what others think.
Or perhaps we just need to rearrange some of the other forums to include or disclude certain things.
I'm voting yes on this, although it doesn't have to be strictly politics, but more generally rebuilding a community or a society. As I've mentioned elsewhere, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, a point will come when the survivors have learned to coexist with the zombie menace; at that time, if we want to be more than hunter-gatherers, we need to think about reconnecting with others and reclaiming some semblance of our former lives. This area is ripe and worthy for discussion, especially since by and large we seem to have gone over the other topics as much as we can.

Here's what I'm going to recommend: because I don't see a particularly useful place for this category, I would like to rearrange things a little bit. Let me know what changes you think could be made. This thing was haphazardly put up and then changed in the same way about 6 months ago, or more, so I am all about making this forum better.
Keep in mind: Simplicity and clarity -- too many and things become cluttered and disorganized and too few and the same thing happens.
Well, if we don't want to have the main page too long we should definitely put it as a subforum under General Survival. We probably shouldn't have numerous subforums underneath it (Laws, Commerce, Trading, etc.) because that will most certainly complicate things, so we should just amalgamate them all into the one subforum.
In there we should probably make it clear that it isn't a place to argue whether President Bush should be hung and quartered or Tony Blair should be fed to the zombies as a spectator sport etc., just discussion of Dystopian Politics.
Maybe something like
