in the case of an outbreak,the absolute WORST thing you can do is panic.flailing your arms around and shouting is'nt going to stop them.all that energy screaming should go towards the effort.the moment you hear the news,you should first asess the situation,meaning find out what type of outbreak it is.if it is a end times scenario(I.E. all dead are coming back no matter if infected or not)then i suggest you start praying.in this scenario,theres no point in living because re-creating society will be impossible.But if it's an only those that come in contact with infected come back,theres an extremely good chance for human survival.since zed heads are so slow,you can create a fully functional barrier within the time it takes them to shamble a mile.but lets just suppose they gain(or have) the ability to run.then humanity is royaly f**ked.fast zeds are impossible to beat.by the time it takes you to reload or react,there already having your face for lunch.the best thing to do here is to retreat to a high up,one entrance building with plenty of food,water,gardening supplies and fertilizer.think about it,it's the perfect hide-away.grow your own food,no zed trouble,plenty of birds to kill.
