My thoughts on the whole subject...

Now, I'm new here, but please don't disregard me in the least, but I have a theory that may coencide with some of your other theroies, but my idea of Z-day may be a scenerio envolving a cure for cancer. Seeing as how scientists are doing their best to make a cure, it only suits the idea, and if they accidently make a reanimation virus, then we're screwed of course. What I say is simply this: If scientists do come up with the cure, it may be an accidental virus and if it gets released into the public, then a day later people will start to die and reanimate, thus bringing upon us Z-day. Now, I'm not totally clear on my point of view, but I just want to see what you all think about it.

This is the plot for I am legend. But I think that the link you and the movie you are making between cancer and zombie apocolyps is stupid. That is like saying that the cure for the common cold will turn you into a wearwolf.

Have a nice day!

I go for a 'walking dead' point of view.
I'm not worried why the zomies are here, I'm worried about how to survive.

But if you know how why they're here you might be able to be better prepared for them. you could know if its a virus and airborne, if it can be transfered through bodily fluids like in 28 days later when the dude gets the blood in his eye and turns, if they can starve, if it will make them deteriorate into nothingness, and so on, and so forth.

Eh, what? Sorry to sound like an idiot, but I've never actually seen the movie. More or less, the thread was kind of an accidental re-hash, I didn't realize there was already a thread like this. Mods can feel free to lock it.
