hammer time

so, my favorite weapon, is the war hammer, even though I havent used the "hammer" very much it looks quite appealing. My problem is that I cant exactly figure out what a war hammer is. I research but either end up with a basic "uncle billy" sledge or a one handed behemoth used by the vikings which has no data to go ff of.

So my task for you my fellow site members, is to give me your input on what the ideal type of hammer would be for post z-day use, and quite simply if you think it will work at all

Love the topic's name.

Just one question for right now. What are you looking for in a "war hammer"?

Two handed sledge with a nice big "Piece Oh' metal" at the end... Something that uses your muscle and wieght to make a nice *crunch* sound as it comes down on whatever your swinging at... XD

My score is 3776, what's yous? http://ww2.zombieinitiative.org/node/2515

well sanchez, something that i can put my weight behind and smash a skull easily enough, but that isnt extremely long or cumbersome. something i can run with for a decent distance, but wont break very easily.

and if its needed to be known, im about 6,3 200 pounds, and i run cross country..so yea crunch the numbers and tell me what you get

And over what length would be extremely long?

2 1/2' and just shy of three pounds be good enough?

One of those funny looking 13th century war hammers. Of course if certain things about them don't sit right with you there is always the option of a little shop class modification. Just make sure it's from a good manufacturer.

Edit: Many different kinds. Just picked this picture at random.
