Instead of constantly flaming the new guys and bringing up the whole problem of them compliaining and such... why not just make a seperate forum area for the noobs? Somewhere they can go, not for us to get rid of them, but for them to be away from our ridicules... they can go there and talk to the other newbs and when someone comes in and flames them they can just say "You don't beling in the newb forum." Then, when they pop the training wheels off and feel safe around the big kids they can come in and [maybe] post something worthwhile. And if they don't, we can just tell them to go back to the kiddie pool. They should probably still be moderated, but somewhere safe(r) for them to lurk.

That acctualy sound like a good idea,although im not sure how well it would work.We could implement it for a while,if it doesnt work we could always get rid of it.
I like the idea....
Putting them all in a separate part of the forum from us would hurt them more than help.
Even if they get ridiculed by our posts in the forum its lets them now much faster things that they were wrong about, right about, flawed things, etc.
If all the new people are together alone then they'll most likely just spread any flawed thoughts or wrong information/assumptions they have among each other.
In my opinion though.

Point taken, but it can still filter the smart ones from the others. Some will look at that and say, "Well that's just stupid, let's see what's on the rest of the site."
Also, the mod could intervene when necessary to say... "Noobs, you are stupid. Behold rational thought as I show you the proper way to do things."

I'll politely disagree. The suggestion from above isn't too different from the one I made in another topic before Nick deleted it. Something along the lines of a place where people could post all these "Which zombes do u think would b the worst?", "which wepon comb do u think would be th worst?", and all that jive.
