Hahaha. So true, but that topic was a perfect example more-so of how not to post your plan and attempt to fight against criticism.

I wouldn't mind critiquing anyone's plans.

I do however have some rules for posting plans:

The following is my rules for adequate information in posting plans and requested help from me (personally):

1. Post address of safe house or target area(s) of concern
2. Post full rout (if any) of escape plan along with starting destination(s) and target location(s)
3. Post Pros and Cons of escape rout, safe house, and transportation method
4. Post terrain features such as rivers, lakes, mountains, forested areas, etc... in accordance with targeted area.
5. Post How many people you plan to bring with you and how many stragglers you can pick up along the way.
6. Most importantly - Make sure you structure your plan into categories and detailed lists. I hate sloppy plans.

I suggest to structure your plans like such:

Plan A
Details of Plan A.

Plan B
Details of Plan B.

Transportation Method
Details of travel method(s).

Escape Rout
Details of Escape Rout.

Party
List of members involved with your survival group and how many stragglers are able to be saved.

Pros & Cons
List of Pros and Cons about all listed above.

Long Term Goals
What are your long-term goals for survival?

Misc.
All miscellaneous information, questions, or comments concerning said Survival Plan.

We've tried it before and most of the time the person just argues with everyone's suggestion and won't admit any flaws, or choices they make assuming something about a zombie.

Although you could always just post your plan I guess.

I actually think this is a good idea if you have a different goal.

No one ... and let me say it again for emphasis ... NO ONE can come up with the perfect plan, nor can they tell you how to perfect your own plan. Of course, now that I'm done with that bit of semantical masturbation, I will add that we can critique and provide feedback on your plans.

Though I think NIEs structure is a bit rigid, I think the basic idea is good. I think it would be a great idea to have people post their survival ideas (in individual posts, we don't want it all in one) and people can critique their plans.

All that needs to be said is this: FIRE = BAD
