Ladies and Gentelmen
We have a new topic that needs to be fully discussed in order to come to terms on making a scoring board for the forums. I know we are all tired of seeing these "Best...", "Weapon vs. Weapon", "How about this vehicle", and "Armor vs. Armor" type of topics. Thus I would like to start a scoring system on all of these types of things for us to use to better assist you in choosing what to choose in accordance with your plans.
The first thing I would like to address is the topics. The topics I would like to see posted are as follows:
- Buildings
- Projectile Weapons
- Melee Weapons
- Armor
Now- what do you think should be the different issues to score these said topics?
NOTICE: There is no explosives topic on here... DO NOT POST ONE!

To start this off on the right foot:
Buildings
Floors: How many floors are there?
Doors: What type of doors are there, and how many?
Wall Materials: What materials are the walls made out of?
Windows: How many windows are there and what type of windows are there?
Distance form Resources: How far do you need to travel to gather resources?
Size: How large is the building?
Projectile Weapons
Accuracy: How accurate is it?
Distance: How far can the projectile be fired and still be deadly?
Maintenance/ Upkeep: How easy is it to repair and how often do you have to clean it?
Ammunition Availability: How available is the ammunition for said weapon?
Add-ons: What type of additional equipment can be added and how much of this equipment is readily available?
Melee Weapons
Damage: How much damage can be done and what type?
Durability: How durable is the said weapon?
Maintenance/ Upkeep: How easy is it to repair and how often do you have to clean it?
Availability: How available is said weapon?
Armor
Durability: How durable is said armor?
Maintenance/ Upkeep: How often do you have to repair or clean said armor?
Weight: How heavy is it?
Material Availability: How available is the material that the armor is made of?
Am I missing anything? I know I am...

Oh, NIE, my friend, you've opened a can of worms. You have a great starting list, but it's missing stuff ... at least it feels that way. For now, I'm just going to start with a couple of them.
FirearmRanged WeaponsDistance(this is me being nitpicky, sorry) Range: How far can the projectile be fired and still be deadly?Durability/Adaptability: How durable is the said weapon? How much abuse can it take before it breaks and/or how sensitive is it to changing conditions?
Learning Curve: How much skill does it take to learn and how much skill does it take to continuously operate?
Strength Needed: How much strength does it take to continuously operate?
Rate of Fire: How fast can you go from firing one round to firing the next?
Rate of Reload: How fast can you go from empty magazine to firing/launching another shot?
Damage: How much damage can be done and what type?
Durability: How durable is the said weapon?
Maintenance/Upkeep: How easy is it to repair and how often do you have to clean it?
Availability: How available is said weapon?
Learning Curve: How much skill does it take to learn and how much skill does it take to continuously operate?
Strength Needed: How much strength does it take to continuously operate?
Rate of Attack/Recovery: How fast can the average user swing this weapon? How fast can one recover from having swung the weapon and be ready to swing again? How fast can one adapt to new situations/problems with this weapon?
I think, first, that Ranged needs to be used instead of Firearm -- I know there will be debate about this, but whether you are of the 'old school' technology or not, these weapons should get a fair evaluation. Also, I think that durability is equally as important in ranged weapons as in melee. And I think we need to acknowledge that some weapons are just not designed for some people -- my friend would be crushed even by the meager force of a 4-10 shotgun. Further, speed may be a consideration for many things.
I know there are still some missing. And you all may want to revise what I have written. Who else has something?
All that needs to be said is this: FIRE = BAD
FirearmRanged WeaponsI know it is missing a LOT.
As for your correction... check my corrections already... I changed it due to Charged and Chilbert in chat.

It sure is.
I'm not trying to pick on you, I'm actually very impressed with everything here. It's a good list, and getting better all the time.
Case in point, I guess, you speedy little devil, you.

Not picking on me.... I so wish you were so I could pick back.
I am not by any means speedy... I am just on here more often.
Does anyone else have anymore suggestions?

Sub-categories and break down of all related main subjects in question.
"They drew first blood not me..." (Stallone in Rambo: First Blood)

Pickles!!!
No, not a real suggestion, but more of a way to mock Chilbert.
Now, what do you want Chilbert? More explanation. Extrapolation. More more more.

ROFL!
He means in each subject such as Armor, it will be broken down into sub categories (IE - Clothing, Jackets, Feet Wear, etc...).

so would this be more of a personal review of items? honestly it would be nice to know where one could get the items we would review ie website or a store. if so the would this not go into it its own tab in the main catigories up top?
Okay. I can understand that ... wait ... no I can't. Why break it down? So, have like Categories and sub catories ... in like a hierarchy?
Like:
....like that?
This would indeed be like a personal review of the items in general, but I think that adding a place to purchase specific items and personal recommendations would be great.
