I will soon be moving in with my lady friend on a nice 45 acre area, and I want to start building my own zombie compound so please gives me all advice as i need it. links to helpful sites would be nice to
I know that the area im going to use needs to be decently high above the water table and an area that doesnt flood regularly, and that the area should be level dirt without rocs or lots of roots in the soil. I also knw tht it should be in decent range of a natural water source.
I know the building itself will have to pass local and state inspections and that it needs to be damn secure...besides tht im basically lost
You would be surprised what "silly" and or "stupid" laws there are out there (granted MOST of them are not enforced, but it doesn't mean they cannot be). So yeah, Odesseyzephyr has the right idea there.

i would check in to the rules aboout building fences ive been throwing this idea in my head for a compound for a while ill throw some blue prints together for ya and see what kind of media i can put it on if i can find anything ill just have to loda some hand drwan pics. hanks for giving me something to do

befor i can draw anything i need to know how many ppl will you be housing and a rough scetch of how the land looks like is it on top of a hill or something and how deep underground you are able to build/dig. and a rought map of the area.
as far as experiand in architecture i was at a college lever b4 i left high school so they will be pretty good mide you in a little rough. it been a while
well I want a compound for atleast 10 people in reasonable condition..ill sketch something out and show you, I want a heavily fortified building surrounded by a heavily fenced outdoor area for agriculture and what not, and some kind of tall lookout tower as well

Don't forget to get permits for the buidling, Kentucky has some crazy laws and fines for buidling without them.

Yea, i never tried to build anything but they want you to have permits for anything bigger than a shed.
