The avatar pictures have to be a certain size as specified in the profile section plus you have to have the picture stored on the internet (example: photobucket) to use it. You cannot directly load pictures from your home computer to the site, you have to go through a "middle man."

oh is that like a rule or something? Because i don't load them from photobucket.

You can upload it to ZPI, but the drupal core that ZPI is running on tends to cache a lot of stuff, so it sometimes takes a few hours up to a day to change images.

As for posting pictures on any other part of the website- it is strongly suggested that you post them in an external site and then hard code it to the page.

I had a lot of difficulty with it when I tried uploading my avatar picture directly, I guess that is why I told them to try the other way. Thanks for the advice though.

Yep. That's why I never got one. Of course I now choose not to have one since it makes me The Mighty Sanchez.
