I have to say the storyline from I Am Legend was very good and odds are how our government would react after a large scale outbreak. However I'd have to say the type of Zed is inaccurate. However as far as Zed I would have to saw that 28 days had the most accurate version of what a Zed would be. Not entirely a new race just a diseased race.
Though due to lack of test subjects I couldn't verify this but from studying human anatomy for a good portion of my life I would have to say that seems logical and plausible. Worst case scenario is Night of the Living Dead kind of Zed though. (sorry for the text wall)

I agree, i liked the plot of "I am Legend".. The type of zombie though, as u said, was alittle extreme in that movie.

Id have to say 28 weeks is by far the most accurate as it shows an infection rather than some sort of Demonic race of Z's. I am Legend is a sweet film the zombies arnt that impressive though.

28 Days Later is truthfully the only plausible one.
BTW I am Legend is a Vampire movie. Read the book.
28 Weeks Later is alright but it's execution is just completely and utterly poor, at least on a realistic level.
My preparation is focused on Undead that display Romero characteristics, but are also fast.
But yeah 28 Days Later is the most realistic. Why?
1) Zombies aren't Zombies in the traditional sense. They are simply Rabid people.
2) They don't have super strength, they don't come back to life, they don't have super fortitude. They stick to realistic dimensions.
3) The break down of Society is eerily plausible. The Infection leaks out of Britain but the world contains it and confines it to the island, leaving it completely on it's own.
4) The Military is portrayed in a realistic light. They're not all evil, and those that are initially portrayed as so are given a realistic/sympathetic view.
28 Weeks Later basically threw out realism and added a lot of action. That and 'U.S. led Nato Force?' Considering I didn't see one soldier not wearing MarPat. Or the fact that the U.S. and the U.N. aren't the best of friends and that it's unlikely the U.S. would move into a country that has no strategic value...I'm stopping before I rant.

ACU's are just faded MarPat.
Haha, I know the difference but most people I try and mentioned ACU's don't know what I'm talking about, but MArPat always lights up a few dim bulbs.

well, i would have to go with the 28 scenario, though it would have to depend on how quck the military reacts, the way the infection is spreading and how fast, and so many 'what if' scenarios, but i would like the 28...

interesting because i hadn't the slightest clue as to what a MARPAT whojigger was but know quite well what ACUs are thanks to the classic BDUs lol
um id say personally 28 days later or resident evil
and when i say resident evil im talking about how its created, i see a super corporation (probably something like Johnson & Johnson lol) F'n around with chemicals and what not and BLAM bad people, although i don't believe in the types of zombies
28 days later, the only thing i don't trust about it is that this guy is untouched in the hospital, and that even though hell is going on the military wasn't flying anything like an airstrike or chopper runs
28 Days later is the most likely and what im prepareing for.I consider that worst case scenario if i can live through that i can handle shamblers.
Actually even in the book its rather hard to tell that is Vampirism. If a word would be placed on it, it would be mutanagen. The only real sign of Vapirism is the the weakness to sunlight. Which can also be found in albinoism so it could just be an aggressive infected host that has no pigment in their body. It has been years since I've read the book though and my memory is fuzzy do forgive me if i cant exactly remember any other weakness.
