An article on some methods to get water out in the wild: http://travel.howstuffworks.com/how-to-find-water.htm
As I have mentioned before, I am a pretty big fan of site that
are not wikis. I hope this information is helpful and informative.
"They drew first blood not me..." (Stallone in Rambo: First Blood)
I was going to say somthing about filtration but it apperes to be coverd in that artical. I would however find alternitives to that filtration straw and fire as im shure there are more ways then those to purify water
Will you hold me back? If need be I will leave you behind...
The reason I have been posting these is (as noted above) that the techniques are proven to work and I enjoy educating others. I plan on making this kinda like my own Ninja Mini-Forum Series on "How To;" concentrating on subjects that would not only benefit those long-time members, but also those who are new to the website and looking to prepare themselves. Also, I could throw in some signature "Ninja" things thus making it original.

I already wrote one article and only got 5 comments (2 of which were my own) on it. I do not know if that means people just didn't read it, weren't interested, or if they go straight to the forum. It is a good article so (Elliot liked it but I have received little to no negative feedback so I don't know what information people want to know, therefore I have been posting what I believe I would want to know and learn about if I were a brand new member and/or a long-standing member who was seeking preparation info.)
"They drew first blood not me..." (Stallone in Rambo: First Blood)
I am a college student so I write like one, I refuse to "dumb down" my writing style to appease those who would not take the logical path and use a dictionary (which is pretty standard on most computers to have some version of one) to help them understand any words or phrases they do not understand. In the "real" world, no one is going to do "it"* (the work) for you. I feel sorry for anyone who has had anything they wanted handed to them and did not have to work for it because they will never know the benefits of learning how they learn and the feeling of achievement, not to mention the confidence it brings. I appreciate intelligence (as I am positive you do as well) and if someone does not want to learn (from experience) you cannot teach them. They have to want it. They have to have the determination and drive to learn and actively seek the answers, or otherwise let their intelligence whither and die.

Look I am just trying to say that "we" possess so much potential for success, but so few of "us" use that potential for our own (or anyone else's) better good. I want to challenge people to be better, if it means offending some and turning others off to my writing so be it, the ones who want to learn and challenge themselves will.

Good post I am a big fan of the lifestraw. It was in the same magazine as the building in the bag article. http://www.waterstraws.com/Buy%20online.htm
Have a nice day!
I like knives.
I'm a cat! MEOW

I don't think people didn't like it. I think the size of the article and the fancy wording is a bit intimidating.
