Long List of Links

NIE Posted: Sun, 11/25/2007 - 16:15

Since everyone here is huge into weapons and other gear, I have collected a few good links for you all to look through in order to find better equipment for hunting, self defense, and recreational use. I also felt it was important to post a quick definition of what a firearm is.

“Under federal firearms regulations a firearm is defined as any weapon which is designed or may be readily converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosion. The frame or receiver of any such device is also considered a firearm.
A solid piece of material only externally shaped as a firearm would not be considered a firearm under this definition. A nonfunctioning firearm with only minor modifications such as having the bolt welded shut would, however, still be considered a firearm since it would be readily restorable.”
-Shotgun News; Vol.61: Issue 33: Page 38
The following is a collection of websites that are excellent to look through for weapons/ equipment:

http://www.jgsales.com – Used+New Guns & Gear.
http://www.gggaz.com – Gun fighting Gear.
http://www.grafs.com – Ammunition.
http://www.model1sales.com – Model “1” Series Rifles.
http://www.fnhusa.com – FN FNP Pistols.
http://www.starlinebrass.com – Brass casings for those who know how to reload their own ammo.
http://www.brownells.com – Ar-15/ M16 Rifles. Also, if you want a custom rifle- just add the /buildit to the end of the URL.
http://www.bradleys-military.com – Military Gear.
http://www.hk-usa.com – I suggest checking out the new HK45. I haven’t had any complaints run in about Heckler & Koch, so I figure it’s a hearty design. (Might need an FFL due to most of the rumors saying its full auto)
http://www.lwrifles.com – They have a nice selection, but not sure about the prices.
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com – Firearm Gear.
http://www.rangersales.com – Mostly Gear and Magazines.
http://www.samcoglobal.com –Guns, gear, and Ammunition (limited supply of 7.62x39).
http://www.ioinc.us – Collectors Firearms, and they also sale calendars of girls with guns! Mmmmm- tasty!
http://www.burriscoptics.com – Laser guided and digitally compensated scopes.
http://www.tnwfirearms.com - .50 cal everything.
http://www.lonewolfdist.com – Glock gear.
http://www.atncorp.com – Night vision & Daytime precision goggles and scopes.
http://www.remington.com/tactical - Need I say more?
http://www.hornady.com – Ammunition.
http://www.bushmaster.com – Rifles and Pistols.
http://www.riflestocks.com – Custom Stocks for your rifle.
http://www.semiautopkm.com – Semi-Automatic PKMs! Yummmmmm!
http://www.airhog.com – For you Airsoft lovers.
http://www.wraithmaker.com – You NEED to see this site. It’s an Epic Win!
http://www.ultimak.com – Firearms & Gear. They also have AK accessories… (nick47)
http://www.brpguns.com – Looks mostly like a bunch of older collectors sub machineguns. Though they have an XMG.
http://www.star15.com – Never been to this site, but I was told it has great rifles.
http://www.mauser.com – WWII Replicas and Collectors firearms + Gear.
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com – A bit like BlackHawk, but the prices are extremely reasonable.
http://www.modernsurvival.net – Though not weapons or gear, this is a magazine about all concepts of survival.
http://www.wilsoncombat.com – Custom firearms and accessories.
http://www.usautoweapons.com – Mostly need an FFL for this site. Consists of full automatic weapons to silenced weapons. Have some semi-autos and accessories also.
http://www.highreadytactical.com – Decent priced weapons and accessories.
http://www.pyramydair.com – More rifles for those Airsoft fans.
http://www.commandarms.com – Accessories for Rifles.
http://www.elletbrothers.com - Defensive Ammunition. Good stuff from what I hear, but not as well as
http://www.barnesbullets.com - Barnes is the best complete copper bullet I have ever had the privilege of firing. You all should consider looking at the website for ammunition. I strongly suggest it!

As for Shotgun Ammunition- I only suggest Federal or Winchester type shot, but I don't have any recommended slug brands.

If you have any decent websites that you think are a must see for their content, then post them. I have gathered these websites for a while now. Most of these websites are decent in my view. Your feedback is also appreciated.

Here are a few good links:

http://www.ccwsupply.biz/CCWInfoSecretsofFastDoubleTaps.pdf - Tells how to accurately fire two shots into the chest by military standards.
http://www.nrahq.org/education/guide.asp - Has pictures to help you understand.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_safety - Has all of the basic needed knowledge.
http://www.boomershoot.org/general/GunDict.htm - The terms for guns and actions. You need the basics before you should even fire.

that should help for now. If you want anything more, please feel free to request such information.

I either know or heard of half the stuff on the list. Although I do appreciate the one about semi-auto PKMs.

You're just dying to have a class three FFL aren't you?

Well, it shall happen in a few years. Right now working on my gun smithing course. After that, will be working on small buisness courses and then from there I will open up shop.

With most of the income- I will be building a gun range to practice and shoot trap. After everything is fully paid for and I start making some real money, I will then start collecting.
