i was wondering.. just i case if you got surronded by zombies and one bit you what could you use to make you live longer? could you use stuff from a kitchen? also would a grenade be much use?
A composition-B fragmentation grenade would be useless in the "slow zombie" scenario, since their internal organs which would be shredded by the shrapnel wouldn't affect functioning. Also, keep in mind that frags have a very large injury radius.
A flash-bang (like the ones the SAS uses) would be useful for disorienting the zeds, IF you covered your ears & eyes; lay one ear against a shoulder, using that arm to cover your eyes; cover the other ear with your second arm. They're EXTREMELY loud and EXTREMELY bright!
If you use your gun/weapon/smart hand to cover the second ear, you'll be able to retrieve your weapon from its strap right after the grenade goes off.

First off- Never try to make yourself live longer. That makes everyone around you think you are alright, and that you are not an immediate threat. If you turn while they think youre alright, there goes everyone.
A grenade would be useful if you held it above your head.

who cares what kinda nade it is? HE or Frag, I'm pretty sure that any grenade will be pretty effective when placed in your mouth, or were you talking about the zombies?
HE or High Explosive granades use heat and pressure to destroy M67 or frags use chunks of metal. The HE would be more effective. But I have to ask again. Where are you going to get either?

HE grenade might work,frag not so much.

Hold it high above your head so when it goes off, it is within head depth for other zeds and yourself.
