Zombie Survival Game
It's finally happened. You have been sitting around, watching, waiting, you thought to yourself that it might actually be happening, I mean, the forums have been alive with theory and debate, but recently, things have gone silent. First some of the bigger cities, then panic began to set in. The government tried to evacuate people, but all the emergency planning in place was not meant to deal with this sort of a threat.
Problems began popping up all over the place, even in rural areas (some theorize this was because people from large cities who had been infected, but didn't know it, went to visit relative living in the country.) There were suposedly pockets in parts of the nation where preparations were in place, but none of them are in Minnesota. People first flocked to the hospitals thinking it was an epidemic, and they went first, then when people realized the violence that came with the infection, they flocked to the government centers and military bases. The government centers fell quite assuredly, but the military bases held out ... for a time. They too, eventually fell.
Of course, this is the assumption, or some variation of it, that most on this site think will happen some day. We want to test your abilities and your logic. Let's play the game.

I have a black tactical vest I need to get rid of. I've aleready got something to replace it. So I thought I'd offer it to my ZPI friends first before I put it up on ebay or the EE on AR15.com. I paid $100 shipped for it but only asking $75 shipped. It's in new condition and has only been hanging in my closet. It has six mag pouches across the lower chest that will either hold one AK47 mag or two AR15 mags each, three pistol mag pouches on the upper left chest, a raido pouch and another small pouch.

A number of people in the Midwest decide to have a survival gathering. From various parts of the web, people have gathered. People have come from ZPI, ZHN, ZS, CONvergence and ALL OVER the place for this gathering. Perhaps 100+ people had gathered at a camp in St. Louis Park. The camp has enough food for all these people for 5 days, more if it's rationed.
All that needs to be said is this: FIRE = BAD |

Welcome, all you crazy survivalists. Let's get started. We are creating a setting for the game to take place. If you read the welcome message, assume the problem has spread to a majority of the US and the world at large. This does not mean that other places did not deal with it better or aren't recovered already, but you don't know that. Information is sparse at best.
Given that, give your suggestion for a setting. Of course, this does not mean that we will actually take anyone's suggestions, we just want to see what you all say.
